ALEX MEAD – President, Chief Operating Officer

Alex Mead is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received a bachelors in civil engineering and the University of California – Berkeley where he received a Master of Science. He currently studies at the University of California – Berkeley in the Civil Systems program and is working on a Ph.D. He started Civil Engineering Photos to help spread his passion for civil engineering. He loves Jesus Christ, precision craftsmanship, and steel.

KARL JANSEN – Senior Executive Vice President, Webmaster

Karl Jansen graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Civil Engineering, focusing on structural engineer. While he’s not actively engaged in engineering activities at this time in his career, he enjoys nature, pursuing God, philanthropy, playing soccer and volleyball, and lifelong learning. Someday, Karl hopes to use his skills to make the world a better place.
